Opinion Pieces
You are welcome to submit Opinion Pieces to The Revelstoke Current. We are looking for diverse voices. Opinion pieces should be between 300-700 words. Opinions must not be laid out as facts without including documented proof. Name calling and slanderous content is not permitted and will not be published. Ideally, writers are interested in monthly contributions.
Columns
The Revelstoke Current is looking for contributors to several different columns. If you have a passion for health, fitness, politics, or something else, we want to read it. Columns can be bimonthly/monthly contribution.
Articles
Articles should read as such, please avoid overly flowery writing. Under 800 words unless otherwise discussed. Ensure your work is fact checked and correct.
Cartoons/Photo/Artwork
The Revelstoke Current is always excited to see cartoons/images/art that capture the essence or issues facing the community.
Fiction
The Revelstoke Current has launched a new page for Mountain Fiction. Local writers creating short stories of all genres, flash fiction and poetry will be featured. All well written fiction is welcome.
