CRN coordinating help for most vulnerable

Inspired by Sandra Gregory’s response when the need for shovelling snow struck earlier this season, Lisa Cyr is ready to help the elderly, housebound and immune compromised of Revelstoke during the COVID-19 pandemic with shopping and the delivery of essential goods.

“I have seen firsthand how the community is ready and willing to rally to help those in need,” she says.

Cyr is the coordinator for the Community Response Network, and she is looking for individuals willing to help out.

“I will create a data base of volunteer shoppers/drivers and can help funnel/distribute the demands,” she says. “If you are interested, please email revycrn@gmail.com.”

Cyr will be working with local community organizations who, in turn, work with the most vulnerable, in an attempt to streamline efforts.
