A significant slope stabilization project on Highway 23N will be starting as early as possible next year. In preparation for the project, work sites at the top of the rock slope across from Revelstoke Dam will be worked on starting Tuesday September 3, 2019 after the Labour Day weekend.
Expect closures of Highway 23 North periodically during the work to protect from rock fall. Please be prepared for delays up to 30 minutes between 7 am and 5 pm daily. The work is expected to be completed within two months.
Stay safe and follow all traffic signs and directions from flaggers. Please note that access to the Southern Interior Forestry Museum will not be affected.
