Local Artists and Amazing Presents – Check out the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre

There is still time to head down to the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre (RVAC) and snag an amazing, locally made piece of art for yourself or someone you love.

Like years previous, there is a wide variety of beautiful goods. Whether you prefer pottery, mixed media, sculpture, jewellery, or paintings, there is something for everyone.

One unique aspect of the Christmas Show is the multitude of artists represented. Unlike a gallery show, which often features only a handful of creators, the Christmas Show boasts dozens.

Another popular part of this event is the selection of prices. If buying a large, high value painting is desired, it’s available. But if something more economical is needed, it too is at hand. Pottery expresso cups for $25, felt Christmas tree decorations for $15 or under, and small painting ranging from $38 to $125, depending on the artist. Affordable jewellery and intriguing re-purpose glass decor abound.

The every popular wooden reindeer await homes under the Christmas three. These creations are available for a five dollar cash donation which is donated to the Revelstoke Community Connections food bank.

The RVAC Christmas Shop is open from noon until 4 pm and is open until December 20th. Entrance is by donation, and food bank items are accepted.
