In December of 2018, an online health and social services directory for Revelstoke was launched to help residents easily access up to date and reliable information.
The project was developed by various local groups, including the Revelstoke Chapter, Rural and Remote Division of Family Practice, the City of Revelstoke – Social Development, Child and Youth Mental Health and Substance Use Collaborative, and The Revelstoke Women’s Shelter.
The site cleanly lays out resources, with drop downs for Community Services, Health Care Providers, Hospital and Outreach Services, Mental Health Supports, and Safety and Emergency. There is also an ‘I need Help’ section that offers various links to resources.
It’s a timely and well produced resource that is sure to benefit Revelstokians of all ages for years to come.
