Alberta Fay Jones passed away at Mount Cartier Court, Revelstoke on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Box 2421, Revelstoke, B.C., V0E 2S0, in memory of Alberta.
Alberta was born on January 12, 1932 in Burns Lake, B.C. to Alta and Otto Miller. She married Ralph Jones on June 17 th , 1950. Alberta and Ralph raised their three children in Sicamous before retiring to Summerland, B.C. She enjoyed needle point, knitting and crocheting. Alberta loved gardening, fishing and travelling.
Alberta was predeceased by her husband Ralph, her son Clifford, her parents Otto and Alta and her seven siblings. She is survived by her son Arthur (Wendy) Jones, her daughter Elaine (Ron) Cadden and daughter in-law Bev Jones; her six grandchildren: Harry (Diane) Jones, Tanya (Michael) Le Clair, Sean (Jenn) Cadden, Stacey Jones, Jenny (Chad) Seibel and Kevin (Megan) Jones; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wish to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Kate McCarroll and the staff at Mt. Cartier Court. A heartfelt thank you to Jenn Cadden, for her special care and attention.
