Douglas Martin Dillman passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at the age of 65 years. Doug was born in Vernon, B.C. on February 11, 1955 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1986. He loved logging and was very passionate about his work as a logger. Doug enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren who were the light of his life. ‘Double D’ was a social person and made friends wherever he went.
Doug was predeceased by his father William (Bill) Dillman, stepfather Donald Clarke, grandparents Martin & Rose Dillman, grandparents William & Carrie Epp, brother-in-law Owen Van Solkema and his good friends Wayne Scott, Jack Adam, Jerry Adam, Karen Keating and Helmut (Mooch) Mann, as well as his beloved dog Rusty. He is survived by his wife Pat of Revelstoke; three daughters: Melissa (Adam) Sessa of Revelstoke, Leah (Cory) Zacker of Revelstoke and Carlee (Ryan) White of Revelstoke; five grandchildren: Levi, Ava, Seth, Devin and Tyler; his mother Ethel Clarke of Salmon Arm; siblings: Carrie (Hugo) Ahrens of Calgary, Brenda Tjebbes of Enderby, Donna Fehling of
Armstrong, Debbie (Mike) Fowle of White Lake and Cheryl Thompson of Surrey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
