Maurice “Keith” Mayall passed away peacefully, with his wife Alicia by his side, at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Wednesday, December 2 nd , 2020 at the age of 88 years. There will not be a formal funeral service at this time, but hopefully in the future friends can gather together to celebrate Keith’s life.
Keith was born on January 2, 1932 in Birtle-Cum-Bamford, Lancaster, England and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1970. He was a well-known businessman, owning and operating Farwell Market for many years, a job he enjoyed very much. Keith was an avid golfer and also enjoyed gardening and fishing. He especially liked the time he spent playing cards with his friends.
Keith was predeceased by his only brother Geoff of Ontario, who passed away in 2012. He is survived by his wife Alicia; stepchildren: Gordon, Oliver and Peter; niece Janice; great niece Gillian and many, many good friends.
The family would like to thank Drs. Jarmula and Kate McCaroll for their dedicated care to Keith. A special thanks to the Home Care Community team and the ladies of the Hospice Society for their amazing care and support. To all who sent flowers, lovely cards and phone calls – your kind words and compassion really helped ease the pain our family felt during this difficult time. Thank you all very much.
