Pat was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan on March 17, 1945 and had been a long-time resident of Revelstoke. In her younger years she enjoyed playing baseball and coaching and was very active with community service and volunteering with numerous clubs. Pat loved watching many sports and always cheered loudly! She also enjoyed her games of Scrabble, a round of dice, bingo or keno. Throughout her years , she enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, and LOTS of crocheting, making the most beautiful fine lace doilies. Pat really enjoyed being a resident of Mt. Begbie Manor, where many cherished friendships were formed. Family was most important to Pat, and she was always so proud of all their accomplishments.
Pat will always be remembered as a good person, who only saw the good in people and always took the side of the underdog , Compassionate and empathetic, always willing to help where ever she could. She was a woman who dealt with her disability with such grace. As a friend said, and everyone would agree ” A Lovely little light in this world ”
and will be Greatly missed!!
