There are a couple of amazing prizes up for grabs thanks to a collaboration between Pure Image and Excel Tire. In exchange for a new set of pajamas or pair of socks dropped off at these locations, your name is added to a draw where the winners take home either a set of Hercules Tires (valued at $1,000) or an Olaplex Hair Treatment (valued at $250).
Organized by Michelle Hunter of Pure Image and Bree Hunter of Excel Tire, the two had come up with the idea of a Christmas collection drive over dinner.
“Bree had a meeting at Community Connections to find out what they would like us to collect, and it was pajamas and socks,” Michelle explains. “Items can be dropped at either location, or HUB International Insurance.”
Michelle emphasizes the need for all pajamas in all sizes for both genders.
“It’s for mom, dad, kids, baby – think the whole damn fam,” she says.
Items will be packed into the Christmas Hampers put out by Revelstoke’s Community Connections.
“Revelstoke really steps up to look after its own,” says Michelle. “Businesses will work together and people will really help out, it’s a beautiful part about living here.”
Donations will be accepted until December 23rd, and Pure Image is hosting a PJ Day on Thursday, December 12th.
“All the girls here will be in our pj’s at work, and Tim Hortons is donating hot chocolate and Tim Bits, so that’s a great day to swing by and drop off,” says Michelle. “So come on by, drop off some pajamas, support some families in need, get into the Christmas spirit and potentially win an awesome prize.”
