Planning for the third annual Luna Nocturnal Art Festival is well underway.
Each previous year, the number of attendees surpassed expectations. Artists from all over the country took part, and Luna won the Tourism and Attraction Excellence award from Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. Last year, an estimated 6,400 people attended.
Put on by the Revelstoke Arts Council, the Revelstoke Visual Arts Center and the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce, the event boasted entertainment and wonder for people of all ages from every walk of life.
Last year, Margot Wyllie, the Executive Director of the Arts Council said feedback from the artists has been overwhelmingly positive. “Luna had local professional and amateur artists and artists from across the country. They all want to come back next year,” she had enthused.
If last year stoked your imagination and artists endeavours, then why not submit your work for Luna 2019?
