Concerned about the risk of dementia?

The non-profit Alzheimer Society of B.C. can help. The Society brings a free brain health workshop to the community on Friday, November 1 to show Revelstoke residents the benefits of exercise for a strong body and mind.

Participants will hear from Sherry Wezner, one of the Society’s Support & Education Coordinators for the North and Central Okanagan.

She’ll explain how protecting and maintaining your brain is an essential part of healthy aging.

Long-time fitness instructor Chantal Faucher will discuss programs designed with functional fitness in mind to help improve daily tasks. She’ll also cover the benefits of group exercise.
