If you’re ready to ring in the first week of the new year this Friday the 4th, come out and listen to the Bob Rogers Band. The Jazz Club is located in the Selkirk Room at the Regent Hotel, doors open at 7pm and the show runs from 7:30-9:30 pm. Admission is by donation.
The Bob Rogers Band is made up of several local musicians, as well as others travelling into town to perform. Bob is a trombonist and long-time resident of Revelstoke who plays in a wide variety of groups throughout the Okanagan. Bassist Shannon Sternloff and drummer Trevor Wallach are local as, and are well known to Revelstoke audiences. Guitarist Jordan Dick and keyboard player Colin Spence are fabulous players from Salmon Arm, and saxophonist extraordinaire Rick Lingard will be joining us from down the road in Nelson.
The band will be playing a wide selection of Bob’s original tunes and a few fresh takes on old standards and we guarantee lots of catchy melodies, funky grooves and scintillating solos that will get your feet tapping and your fingers snapping.
