If you’re looking for something today this afternoon, head on up to Mount Cartier Court to celebrate the numerous volunteers who gladly give their time and energy.
“We are extremely fortunate to have a wonderful and dedicated group of volunteers whose efforts add so much to daily life here at Mount Cartier Court,” a press release notes. “We have too many volunteers to list (over 100 active volunteers!) but the following programs are either fully or partially volunteer based: PALS, Hospice, Hospital Auxiliary, Hospital Auxiliary Junior Volunteers, Ministerial, Music, Walking Crew, Pet Therapy, Bingo, Intergenerational, LFI Gardeners, Special Event Volunteers, Foundation Administration, and Work Experience Student Volunteers This doesn’t even include the folks that come in to volunteer in non-organized settings, who enjoy just visiting, reading, conversing and so on.”
