Alexander James “Alec” Carr passed away at Mount Cartier Court Extended Care, Revelstoke on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 82 years. There will be no formal funeral service by Alec’s own request.
Alec was born in Revelstoke, B.C. on March 12, 1938 and had been a lifelong resident. He was an active member of the Old Timers Hockey league. Alec enjoyed playing baseball, solitaire and cribbage. He especially loved to socialize with his friends.
Alec is survived by his partner Lia Robb of Revelstoke; son Brian (Kim) Carr of the United Kingdom; grandson Seth; cousin Jackie (John) of Castlegar; step-sister Darlene Todoruk of Vancouver Island; sister Joyce Windel of Saanich; sister Marg (Ed) Kushner of Trail; good friends Ken & Diane Stephanishin of Campbell River; brother-in-law Frank Kluytmans; granddaughter Lindy (Rob) Silano of Revelstoke; granddaughter Abril as well as many good friends.

Cremation arrangements were in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
