Gloria Maria Davis passed away in Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke, as a result of esophageal cancer, on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Gloria was born on August 20, 1937 in Noranda, Quebec to Elizabeth and Raymond Pelletier. She moved to Revelstoke in 1955 and married her sweetheart Wayne Davis in December of 1958. Gloria and Wayne enjoyed camping throughout British Columbia; travelling through the Kootenays and often up the Bend in their travel trailer. On many of these trips they were joined by their daughter Julie and close family friends Ron and Cathy Taylor. Gloria and Wayne were very involved in the Revelstoke ATV Club. She was often found in the company of her beloved dogs.
Gloria was predeceased by her husband Wayne and her parents Elizabeth and Raymond Pelletier. She is survived by her daughter Julie Davis of Revelstoke; brother Butch (Mairead) Pelletier and sister Patricia Pelletier of Edmonton, Alberta as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
