The loved ones of Niccki Deverall, a local woman dealing with serious illness, are reaching out to the community in the hopes of uniting those who know her and her family in prayer and healing wishes.
Nickki, who grew up in Revelstoke and is raising her own children here, was diagnosed with stomach cancer over a year ago. Unfortunately, her compromised immunity has been struck with a nasty infection. Niccki is currently at Kamloops Hospital.
If you know Niccki, a vibrant, intelligent, articulate woman and amazing mother, you know Christmas is her favourite time of year. She may not be visiting the ski hill often, but Niccki is passionate about the closeness with loved ones the season offers, the celebration of gratitude for what you have, and the kindness it brings out in people.
Tonight, at 7:30 pm at Centennial Park parking lot, please bring flashlights and join in focusing some healing energy on Niccki and her family. If you are unable to attend, consider please consider lighting a candle at home.
