The tournament kicked off on Friday where Revelstoke took on Whitehorse and won 10-3. Later that day, Revelstoke defeated Windermere 7-3. On Saturday, Elk Valley suffered a 14-4 loss to Revelstoke. In the finals on Sunday, Revelstoke was up against another undefeated team from Summerland for the gold medal match.
Coaches Matt Cameron, Dave Pehowich and Jamie Hobgood agreed that the team really came together this weekend and worked hard for the 3-2 win over Summerland. they commend their team for successfully killing three penalties, where it was three on five, without being scored on.
The tournament drew teams from Whitehorse, Smithers, Elk Valley, Nelson, Langley, Columbia Valley and Summerland.
