Rock Scaling Along Highway 23 N to Start June 18 2019

With summer season upon us and plenty of people heading north above the damn to recreate, it is worth noting there will be minor delays starting June 8th on Highway 23N. The delays will be up to 30 minutes, from Monday to Friday from 7am – 5pm, while rock scaling work on the rock slope across from Revelstoke Dam will be underway.

The Rock scaling work is in preparation for major slope stabilization work in the summer of 2020 and is needed to ensure safety of work crews.

The rock scaling is expected to take about three weeks.
