The time and day are set – this years Emergency Services Food Drive will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 4:30 pm.
This will be the third year the food drive will be completed in one night.
“Although it was full on, we received enough food to help stock our shelves until late spring and the financial donations were a huge boost to our food budget,” says Patti Larson, the Director of Community Outreach & Development at Community Connection.
Larson and Community Connection’s Mason Blackmore are looking for community groups who would like to go door to door to collect non perishable food items and monetary donations. Volunteers are also needed to help sort incoming donations.
This event is a major part of the Revelstoke Food Bank being able to stock its shelves for winter. If you or a group you are involved with is interested, please get hold of Larson or Blackmore at Community Connections.
