The 5th annual Tree Pageant event at Sutton Place, which boasted a multitude of beautiful trees decorated by local businesses and groups, has a winner. The event ran for several weeks and allowed viewers to make a donation and then vote for their favourite tree.
“I am so happy to say we were able to raise a whopping $1000 for Community Connections this year. Parks Canada won (by two votes!) as the best decorated tree. Did you know they handmade the beavers on display?” says Sutton Places Front Office Manager Naomi Morgan. “The beavers will be on display at the kids Bike Park for the summer season.”
Second place in the tight race went to Revy Outdoors, whose tree was decorated with strung popcorn, dried orange slices, and classic decorations.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and voted. We look forward to seeing the creative trees displayed in December 2019.
