The Stoke Youth Network Youth Photography competition has drawn to a close. The contest is brainchild of Leslie Hogg, who was inspired to showcase the talent she sees regularly amongst the Revelstoke youth on instagram.
Hogg recruited local professional photographers Zoya Lynch and Bruno Long as judges. Both Lynch and Long were eager to see how the local youths would interpret the world around them from behind the lens. You can read about their take and expectations of the contest here.
The Revelstoke Current is thrilled to share the images of the top three pictures from each category; portrait, landscape and action. The photographers whose work was selected each won a frame and a gift certificate to Pharmasave to have their work printed. Participants who won more than once also receive a gift card to the Modern.
