Revelstoke Minor Hockey Atom Team Takes Silver in Chase Tournament

Players of Revelstoke Minor Hockey’s Atom team are celebrating their silver place finish in the Chase hockey tournament. The team won three straight games and played for gold on Sunday afternoon. It was a tight game, ending in a 4-3 loss, though the Revelstoke team battled to the end. They played with heart, hustle and skill, and rightfully wore their medals with pride.

The eight teams in the tournament came from the Chase, Williams Lake and the Okanagan. Revelstoke stood out with positive coaching, good sportsmanship and strong players, two of who won tournament awards. Daniel Erwin won the Forward of the Tournament and goalie Parker Degerness won Goalie of the Tournament.

The team currently sits in first place in the league. The final game of the season on Sunday March 3, will likely be the banner match between Revelstoke and Lumby to decide the season winner.

Congratulations to the team and coaches on their excellent work this past weekend.
