Williamson Lake Father’s Day Fishing a Hit

The Revelstoke Rod and Gun Club was on hand at the Williamson Lake Father’s Day Family Fishing event, and it went off without a hitch.

The weather was clear and hot and over 70 children brought their parents out to cast their lines and try their luck at the stocked fishing event. The club had a multitude of rods and reels, donated by the province and given out to the kids at a first come first serve basis.

Though some had luck, most of the fish stayed in the lake. The club had a BBQ fired up, serving hot dogs and burgers.

The annual event is a family favourite and always worth checking out.
